Bags are packed



My bags are packed, and we're good to go - off to New York, Boston and Washington DC for a week! It'll be a marathon of shows, shows, shows. Unfortunately there will be no internet access but I'll be keeping a record and taking plenty of photos - and if I can post a bit here and there I will. I'm excited to be seeing Connie, my resident New Yorker friend, while we're out there!

The Schedule

Friday: Red eye flight to Boston
Saturday: In Boston for the Royal Ballet's Manon - the Zenaida Yanowsky/ Kenneth Greve cast in the afternoon, and the Tamara Rojo/ Carlos Acosta cast in the evening. Lots of coffee required.
Sunday: Mid-morning flight to New York. New York City Ballet (Divertimento No. 15, Klavier, Episodes) in the afternoon, Avenue Q in the evening.
Monday: In New York, A taping of the David Letterman show.
Tuesday: Visiting my uncle in Long Island during the day, then back in Manhattan, the new revival of Sweeney Todd in the evening.
Wednesday: Bus to Washington DC, the Royal Ballet's mixed repertory program (La Valse, Tanglewood, Enigma Variations, and Gloria) at the Kennedy Center in the evening. Dinner with Caroline in between.
Thursday: Dress rehearsal for The ROyal Ballet's brand new Sleeping Beauty a the Ken Cen in the afternoon; the opening night performance of Sleeping Beauty, with Alina Cojocaru and Johan Kobborg in the evening. DInner with Michael Ann in between.
Friday: Bus back to New York. The Threepenny Opera in Roundabout Theatre Company's revival, with Alan Cumming and Cyndi Lauper, in the evening.
Saturday: No show yet in the afternoon; The History Boys in the evening.
Sunday: New York City Ballet's spring season closer (Symphony in C, Vienna Waltzes) in the afternoon. Flight back to Los Angeles in the evening.
