Saw "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. In front of the theatre that day was a big red carpet setup for the ESPY Awards, taking place at the Kodak Theatre across the street (alas, it was not to welcome us into the El Capitan). It was a very Hollywood moment.
The movie was fun - plot and character don't hold up nearly as well as in the first film, and especially this plot verges on the ridiculous several times. But it takes you for a great ride, and it's certainly very fun, so its worth seeing.
