Things I'm looking forward to in 2009

A few random things that I am personally looking forward to in 2009 (by no means complete):

New York City Ballet's repertory season, the first one I'll be able to attend regularly (January-March). Miami City Ballet at City Center (January). Finally seeing the new production of South Pacific on Broadway (February). Batsheva Dance Company performing Ohad Naharin's work at BAM (March). Nederlander Dans Theatre II at the Joyce Theater (April). Natalia Osipova guesting with American Ballet Theatre in Giselle and La Sylphide (May-June). The Bolshoi Ballet's Le Corsaire at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC (June). The Royal Ballet in a fantastic mixed bill at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, which includes Frederick Ashton's A Month in the Country, Christopher Wheeldon's Danse a Grand Vitesse (DGV) and Wayne Macgregor's Chroma (June). West Side Story on Broadway, for Jerome Robbins' dances in their full theatrical context (March).
