I'm off to Chicago to visit my brother for the rest of the week, and as you can see I've got my airplane reading at the ready. Won't have time to see too many shows while there, but we may go to Ravinia for the Chicago Symphony.
If you're in SoCal on Saturday, go see this: the National Choreographer's Initiative. It includes a work Melissa Barak, recent NYCBer and current LA Ballet dancer. And read the OC Register's feature story on the performance, which includes video. The performance looks fascinating!
