Playing at the Cort Theatre on Broadway,
The 39 Steps is a very amusing show with some really fantastic performances from its four-person cast. The show is a hyperactive stage re-telling of Alfred Hitchcock's noir-ish spy film of the same name. I found the show a bit unsatisfying in the end, as the story doesn't wrap itself up so satisfyingly on stage, but still the acting and the clever staging provide enough entertainment.
